CU Engage Employee Spotlight: Heather Moshier
Our Next Employee Spotlight is: Heather Moshier! Heather is the Director of Technology Consulting here at CU Engage. Working remotely from San Diego, Heather has been with us since January 2018. Heather’s knowledge and passion for the industry radiates through every room she’s in. She has been an integral part of our team!
A little background information
Heather’s 30-year industry history involves 22 years with San Diego County Credit Union where she dabbled in information technology, IT security and risk management, eCommerce, and disaster recovery, among other things. She served as chair for the CUNA Technology Council and CUNA Council Forum and served on several advisory boards. Heather’s leadership skills have not gone unnoticed as she has won quite a few industry awards including the 2013 Women to Watch in Technology, and the 2013 Credit Union Rockstar, both awarded by Credit Union Times Magazine.
If you ask her how she came to work for CU Engage, she will tell you a friend thought the company would be a great fit for her, and now that she is with us, Heather is responsible for working with credit unions to assess their current technology environment and help to prioritize and plan technology strategies.
Heather likes to “work hard, play hard” and when she isn’t working with credit unions, she enjoys going to the beach and to concerts, travelling and spending time with her family and friends. You might find her eating Carne Asada tacos, indulging on some chocolate, or having a laugh while watch America’s Funniest Home Videos. Basically, she’s just living life to the fullest!

A: People who give their time back to the community and help the underserved population.

A: The people and working with our amazing clients.

A: I was born in London.

A: Accomplishing your goals in life and gaining the respect of others along the way. Building a network of friends that you can collaborate with and reach out to at any time!
Q: Best vacation you’ve taken?
A: European vacation in 2018 with my adult boys and their significant others. I really enjoyed the family time we had and the fun experiences.
